In any grade. I remember making one of my high school teachers cry when my friends and I put together a baby shower for her with a slide show about her, and we had collected donations to buy her and her husband a crib when she was expecting.

Twice. In 7th grade, my teacher wore her shirt backwards by mistake, and every time that she turned around, we all saw the pocket on the back and started laughing. She didn't know why we kept laughing at her and ran out of the room crying. In 10th grade, someone slammed the door against the wall hard enough to make a hole going through to the next class. We had class while next door had lunch. They spent the whole class time dropping pieces of paper through the hole. Kids kept laughing and my teacher walked out in tears.

Yeah 4th grade. She lit candles and cried. I think someone died not sure if it was a kid or a soldier.

I had a very bad class in tenth grade. They made our teacher cry. She was my favorite teacher and she’s so nice. She moved across the country and when she came to my neighborhood I saw her with her husband and kids she asked us to watch her babies and walk them around the block(at night) I wanted to ask her for forgiveness even tho I wasn’t part of the mean girls but I was to embarrassed to ask with the friend I was with.

Yes my fifth grade teacher cried when she was teaching us a dance. One of the moves was on the knees and some girls asked if that's allowed so she cried, maybe feeling criticized? She then gave us a whole mussar speech

One of my seminary teachers cried while playing the song "ki hatorah kolleles kol hatovos shebaolam" for our class. It was one of the most impactful moments of my entire seminary year, more than any speech about chashivus hatorah. 🥲

I'm a teacher who has cried when watching emotional videos with my students, hearing a beautiful speech etc. I cry sometimes from hearing them sing. I'm not embarrassed to show those emotions - they are real.

One of our HS teachers cried telling us she wasn’t coming back to teach the next year because the commute was too much for her family and she was so upset that she wouldn’t be able to benefit from the hours of preparation she put into teaching us a new subject that year.

I cried as a teacher , but I don't think my students saw. one day my ninth grade student just got to me. They had been difficult for a while. I walked in, and the girls just made me crazy (several girls asking to go to the bathroom, others complaining the bell didn't ring, etc). and I left and went to the teacher's room and cried.

My high school Chumash teacher/Rebbitzen would cry tears when teaching us about Moshe Rabeinu not being allowed to enter Eretz Yisroel.

I teach some inyanim in Chumash myself that make me emotional too.

My 8th grade music appreciation teacher cried in class when the kids kept calling her "Pizza Face" because of her terrible acne.

It was horrible.

My chumash teacher once was walking in the hallway with very red eyes from crying. At the time it was really worrying to me, I thought something terrible must have happened. Looking back, she was a 19 year old ex-seminary girl, it was probably not something as bad as I assumed!

On 9/11 one of my teacher's son was working in one of the Towers. She went into the bathroom and cried as though her heart was being torn to pieces, no control whatsoever. Just full out. We hugged her and tried to keep her company at least. It was a few hours before she finally got a phone call from her son (she had a cell phone, remember not everyone had cell phones in 2001). His office was on one of the lower floors and he managed to get out in time to survive. We heard his entire play by play story that afternoon.
