Help!!! Very time sensitive chiffon cake emergency!

My egg whites won't cooperate - I know if I try to follow the directions anyway the cake will sink, at best. I need a restart - I have 8 eggwhites that are white (with sugar) but not beaten to form peaks. yolks mixed with sugar. now what???? I'll turn it into anything that will come out yummy

Make amaretti. Ground almonds or other nuts, sugar, eggs. Classically made with egg whites, which you don't even need to beat but it's ok if you do. Adding egg yolk makes them more chewy and less crunchy. But you'll need a lot of ground nuts for that quantity of eggs.
