Teachers in my city get nowhere near that much, and no free tuition either.. just a discount.

Sheitel Macher. About 80k. 28 hours a week ..
very very blessed with my job even thou just like everyone else we struggle.
90% of my job is stress free. When someone is unhappy it eats me up but it’s rare. Mostly people have small issues that are easily addressed

In the school I work in noone gets paid anywhere near that. Highest possible is $30,000 and we get a tuition break based on our income just like every other joe.

I teach 25 hours a week and get $35,000 for the year. No tuition discounts automatically. We apply for a scholarship like everyone else.

120k hospital RN, plus amazing insurance for my entire family. 13 shifts every four weeks, a lot of PTO. I also have a bunch of cool jackets from the various facilities I’ve worked at over the years It’s a brutal job but very fulfilling

65k a year, no benefits (insurance would only be for me and not family so not worth it, no 401k, no pension, no other benefits). Oh and I pay for my own CEUs and malpractice.
I am a trauma therapist at a clinic type program, I am fully licensed. I work about 35-40 hours a week. 35 an hour.
Underpaid severely... I love helping people grow and heal but I am burning out. And people wonder why therapists do private practice. It's because insurance and medicaid don't pay anything.
I am so passionate and get joy when I see my former clients be successful, get jobs, not be admitted to a psych hospital, overcome trauma and depression.... each success keeps me there.
But I am not making it financially.

You are getting underpaid, especially for an outpatient setting. Why don’t you look around for a new job, out patients are always desperate to hire.

No place near me is paying more unless they have crazy commutes or requirements. I would have to do private practice which I don't have headspace to do more.
One place will pay more but is telehealth only and requires a crazy number of clients a week. And I don't feel telehealth gives the same level of care.
