Shabbos afternoon I was walking home from the park with my kids and it had already started getting dark. DD pointed up to the sky and said "Oy, broken!" I kind of "Uh huhed" cuz she points at EVERYTHING in the world and I was thinking about what I needed to do when we got home to get them into bed. She repeated it a few times till I looked, and she was pointing at the moon! It's a crescent and it must have looked broken to her especially after a shabbos where a few things were broken, toys, books, the moon, why not? LOL! Sooooo cute!

OMG! This is really funny!
Friday night I went outside with my 2 1/2 year old to wait for totty to come home from shul. While standing outside I pointed out the moon to him, and then he also says "Its broken!" And when my husband came home, the first thing he says to him is "look at the broken moon!"

Oh, I didn't think it was silly at all, I thought it was so smart!
A few weeks ago I had shown him a full moon, so now it looked broken to him.

That's what I meant, we think it's cute/funny but really it shows thought! DD is 2, and I use a white table cloth on shabbos, with plastic over it, still a shidduch? lol

That's so cute, mamacita. And you're right, it definitely shows thought, it just goes to show how much is going on in their heads that doesn't always get expressed.
My older dd also loves the moon (or "moom"). Tonight she kept trying to jump up and grab it (especially hard b/c she still can't get both feet off the ground). I didn't have the heart to discourage her.

Sounds good. I imagine she is a size 2, so thats just perfect! Together they'll go about fixing all the "brokens" of the world.
