It strongly depends on what ingredients you use. I like drums in a pot with onions and paprika and a splash of wine

Salt the drumsticks and dredge in potato starch. Fry.
Then pour sauce over and bake into a glaze.
Or top with very caramelized onions, seasoned heavily with sugar and salt.
Or just use a homemade sauce to bake it with initially, after seasoning chicken with s&p.
