About to redo my kitchen and are debating on quartz countertops. I really like how they look. The halachic opinion that I follow says that it’s OK to kasher them for Passover by using boiling water. How does one do that without ruining them? (If your opinion is that they aren’t kasherable, that’s fine but that discussion is not relevant here)..

We hold it's not kasherable but we "kasher" them anyway as a chumrah.
If you're just using boiling water, it doesn't really affect the resin.
If you really worried about it, you can always buy a reglazing product to keep it looking good.

We did quartzite instead of quartz for this reason. I don't think you can pour boiling water directly on to quartz.

That's not true. Granite is stone and quartz has plastic (aka resin) mixed in. Not everyone kashers plastic, especially for pesach.

We do it. It's fine. When they say not to put anything hot, they're talking about 300 plus degrees Fahrenheit.
boiling hot water is just over 212.
Also, it's only boiling hot for the first couple of seconds. Putting a boiling hot pot on a quartz countertop is entirely different.
