I need to get a present for my husbands worker, in the $200 range? They want it to be a gift not money. Any ideas, because I cannot come up with one?

Is she registered? Does she like to cook? Is she the kind of person who would appreciate something pretty and decorative for the home?

I don't think anyone has enough of really fancy, crystal stem glasses. Or you could get her a beautiful vase.

hm ... not shabbos candles or a challah knife ...
but anything anyone else would want ... so would a non-jewish couple ...
a frame for a wedding picture
a tablecloth
wine goblets
set of pretty towels
down pillows & blanket
have your dh ask where she is registered ...

if you want to be practical, you can do a kitchen aid or food processor. those are always useful.

Check Bed Bath and Beyond and Crate and Barrel
What would you get a Jewish person that was getting married?

seriously though, even if there aren't two sets of dishes and Shabbos/Yom Tov things, most kitchens have the same basic things!
why can't you ask her if she's registered somewhere? is a gift certificate ok, or only a gift (be sure to enclose gift receipt)?

I once bought my husband's co-worker a very pretty serving piece and she loved it. It was even from a Jewish store!

How about a gorgeous tablecloth, matching cloth napkins and silver napkin rings?
I also love those Wilton Armetale hostess pieces. They are so cool.

Like the PPs said, I think the [gentile], would like the same typical non-Judaica wedding items us non-non jews, er I mean Jews, like. You can even look at wedding registries online for ideas, even if she doesn't have her own.

a [gentile] workmate adopted a baby, and I bought them a box of clics. they love it, as we all do.
I would get an appliance or a coffee table backgammon set, collector's edition.

not all non Jews cook as much us jewish people. Even if we are not into cooking, we still have to make shabbos and y't. judging by the amount of ready meals supermarkets sell, some people do very little cooking.
I don't think I would use my food processor if not for shabbos.
One of my best wedding gifts was a down set of bedding.
get something nice with a gift receipt in case she has doubles.

You can check weddingchannel.com and see if they list the registry there.
