BH Yochanan is doing well, making progress on tummy time (although he doesnโt love having to do it). He has about a million follow-up appointments with various specialists, and our latest project is trying to get a blood sample (requested by the allergist/immunologist) it has to go to a specific lab for analysis. Apparently getting enough blood from a baby is an ordeal, today will be the third or fourth time we are trying (at yet another lab).
Making Pesach with a toddler (Yochananโs big brother) and a baby on a feeding tube is challenging, but we are grateful that BH he is home and basically healthy bli ayin hara. | From my personal experience with adult blood work, the lab didn't have the best phlebotomists.. Their prick hurt way more and they had a harder time finding a vein.

Tefillos still appreciatedโฆ my two-year-old apparently has a virus now and the pediatrician said it is likely that Yochanan may get it. I would be grateful if people could daven that Yochanan avoids the virus!

Hi ladies, I wanted to give a happy update that BH today we had a seudas hodaah in hakaras hatov that Yochanan is healthy! He is still on his feeding tube and will be for a while, but BH he is making progress with taking some foods orally in very, very small amounts. He likes watermelon juice, and teeny bit of cream cheese and yogurt seem to go over OK as well. ๐ please keep davening, thank you all so much.

They specialize in weaning babies off of feeding tubes. My baby came off his tube before we ended up starting the program but we heard incredible things about them from other preemie moms.
Insurance doesnโt cover it but from what we heard, itโs worth the money. I spoke to 3 different moms about them. All of them had their kids come off thanks to this program.
