My in-laws use it to make French fries but tbh it wasn’t my taste.

how is it different than a regular fan/convection oven?

would you use it for cookies?

how would kugel come out in a air fryer? just more crispy on top?

Last year my air fryer was new, right before pesach. I think I cooked almost all my food in it. Now it is, chametzdik ☹️☹️☹️.
I cooked potatoes, carrots, all vegetables, chicken cutlets, steak……

I have a oven thats fan/convection and also has airfryer mode.

not sure what to use it for?

does it enhance baking or different purpose?

Made delicious french fries in it because it barely uses oil.

It's basically a tiny oven. Shouldn't you be able to kasher it?

It works better because of 1) the small size and 2) the position of the fan. In your standard oven with convection the fan is in the back or side and pushes the hot air forward. In an air fryer the fan is on top and pushes the hot air down onto the food. This is what makes it taste air fried vs more baked.

If your oven has a mode that has the fans on top then the difference is probably minimal although the small space does make a difference. But if it doesn't then its not really air frying your food.
