Extra-virgin avocado oil has a pronounced flavor and aroma of avocados, and its flavor is often described as mushroomy. Its flavor is also described as rich and nutty. Virgin avocado oil is less mushroomy, and refined avocado oil is rather mild and subtle, with very little mushroomy flavor at all.

Refined avocado oil is no more healthy than refined olive oil.

But has a higher smoking point. Frying or baking with refined olive oil can be carcinogenic.

My extra light olive oil oil has a smoke point of 470°.
Most people deep fry at 350° if they don't want to burn their food.
And I don't fry at all, just sear and sauté.

Correct, just the taste and it's better for frying as it smokes alot less than olive oil (500° smoking point) and you don't lose its benefits when you heat it.
