Can anyone tell me more about Rochel Istrin's books? I haven't read any but thinking of getting for Pesach.
Or any other recommended books please?

I just read captives reunited by rochel istrin and really enjoyed it! I didn’t know it was new tho. Is it?
I actually learned from it something about the orphan trains, a period of US history so now I got a more no fiction book about that to learn more was fascinating

I think there were two out previously and captives reunited is the new one.
I really want to get Brocha Miller’s new book- Hold the Line -and Meir Uri Gottesman’s new book. Menucha Publishers has a lot that look interesting:
Crossroads
Storm Clouds
Alone Together
And a few I want to get for my kids.

Riva Pomerantz has a new novel that my sister just got in EY but I don’t think it’s in U.S. stores yet. It’s the serial about the newlywed couple where the husband had a lot of drama with an enmeshed mother, the Aryeh and Miri one, I forget which magazine had it.
I was just shopping for books last week. There was a new book of stories by Rabbi Spero. A couple of biographies too.
Meir Uri Gottesman has a new novel out, Chevron.

Riva's was in Ami.
Books by R' Meir Uri Gottesman are a matter of taste..I think either you like it or you hate it. One of my kids and I happen to enjoy most of his books.
I find them inspiring. His strange fictions open up worlds of what kedusha might really means, what we can't see it with our eyes.

Over the weekend I saw that there’s a new Chani Altein book (Mimi something) and a Paysach Krohn book about the Maggid’s Seder. Want to buy both.

Hmm thanks I wonder if it’s the new one or one of the old ones that I read, not 100% sure of the title. It was definitely not the first one tho cuz it said something about following the first title, etc. It was in the library at aim byisroel and I really enjoyed!

I'm not the OP, but I posted earlier and thanks for all the suggestions.
I'm down to a few choices now:
My first choice is Hidden by Rachel Istrin
My second choice is alone together by Rachel Pomerantz
And my third and fourth choices are:
More or less by Devora Rand
Rule of three by Esther Kurtz
They all look amazing. Any suggestions which one I should get?

https://frumbooks.substack.com.....eases - Here is a quick round up of the new releases, she includes even books that haven't yet hit the stores but are still supposed to before Chag.
I found it super helpful.

Alone Together was very different than Rachel Pomerantz's other books. I couldn't even finish it, it was that disappointing.
If you like fiction short stories, Esty Heller's Long Story Short is great. They were all originally from the Family First
