that actually reminds me also when I was younger we got a huge sticker pad for crafts and one page had the cutest stickers (in my eyes) it was all red and pink and hearts and lovey stuff with a few lovely phrases like "s3xy sweet" or "relations panther" which I then put all over my project.
I remember my mother coming over and being like UMMM. she told me its not a very nice expression and she took away all bad stickers

We were driving through NYC, and my sister was saying out loud every word she saw out of her window. In her long monologue, which no one was paying attention to, she said B!tch 1…B!tch 2…
(There were tee shirts hanging by one of these souvenir shops in the theme of Dr Seuss’s Thing 1 and Thing 2.)
I can’t remember my parents reaction though.

Yeah that confused me greatly too. Also why gay was banned. I read it in the secret garden and wanted to use it and show off my great vocab skills.

I was convinced for years that you are not allowed to make your beds on YK and TB ...

In 4th grade I used the word "crappy" to rhyme with "happy" for a school project. I thought it was brilliant, my teacher was quite horrified. I had heard it around my house- like if my parents were discussing their days

Do they still do that?
I know years ago they did but I assumed by now someone would have spread the word…. Is it really still going on?

It's not a problem at all to use those kinds of decors for a succa so it's not nessecary to spread the word.

Pet peeve of mine, eating and drinking are the same issur.
I get that schools don't want to teach about what tashmish hamita is, fine.
So don't say there are 5 issurim, just say: On yom kippur, we are not allowed to eat or drink, wear leather, smear, or wash.

This is bad and we cringe every time my aunt says it.
I think in Yiddish a p-ssy is a kiss.
And my aunt has zero problems yelling across a hall or wherever she is. Come give Bobby a p-ssy.
We have told her so many times that’s it’s not a nice word to use in public. Or in private. And she still can’t get it straight.

My kids call their girl dolls boobah and their boy dolls bo-ob.
