There was an ad in the Voice about a local restaurant losing their KCL Hashgacha. Is this because there’s a new Hashgacha in town that they are certifying under or did something happen?

I remember hearing a while ago about a new Hashgacha in town…

Do your research. Find out which rabbanim are behind it. Confirm that they actually are behind it.
That’s all I can say

From what’s circulating on the street-

They hosted an event not in line with kcl standards. were told not to but went ahead regardless.

With kashrut there needs to be trust..

I thought it was a while ago. Why suddenly now did they lose the Hashgacha?

Is it the same hashgacha as kings bagels?

So many people are moving in who have a lower kashrus standard than kcl. Maybe the days of being able to just eat in any restaurant in town is ending.

Oh I actually got food from Bagel King very recently! I didn't realize there was a change in Hashgacha.

Who are they under now? Is it a good hechsher? Sad

I don’t think there was a change. They were never under the KCL

Can you elaborate? Does this make sense to remove a hechsher for this?
