I used to buy freeze dried strawberries from Trader Joe’s, it always had an OU. Last week I noticed it was replaced with a different certification, I couldn’t find anything online about it so I called TJ and they told me since the strawberries are made in Italy the rabbi from there is the one who certifies it.
They gave me his number but I can’t reach him.
If anyone is ever heard of this hechsher and can shed some light please let me know!
