Dh is meeting a female client tomorrow for the first time since the Holidays, and etiquette dictates that he needs to bring a holiday/New year gift. Her male counterparts have been gifted over the years with things as - wine, liquor, golf accessories, dash cam, etc.
Dh is Chassidish and ultra professional with gender boundaries. Therefor he (and I) are stumped.
What is an elegant gift from a man to a woman client without coloring out of any lines?
Please help with suggestions! Desperate as he’s meeting her tomorrow!

Something impersonal like a gift card?
Maybe a classy scented candle? Jo Malone

Gift card for a book shop, like Barnes and Noble?
Only thing I could think of that’s “neutral” and not too personal or feminine (as in something a significant other would buy).

chocolates are very intimate
another idea is an amazon gift card delivered digitally to avoid awkwardness and inappropriateness

DH gives a visa gift card & it's from the business, not from him personally.

He thinks so too. As well as wine.
(He always tells the story of a young Chassid who was new in business and bought flowers for his female customer…)

Amazon gift card. For now there's only time to do it digitally but for future reference you can order physical Amazon gift cards that come in cute/fancy/decorative packaging so it looks like a bit more than just a silly card.
Gift card to Barnes and Noble can also work.

I don’t see why he can’t give her the same things he gives men.
You mentioned wine, liquor, golf accessories, dash cam. Any of those would work.
It would help if you know if she enjoys golf, otherwise I’d skip that. Outside the chassidish world a woman is as likely to drive as a man so if your husband likes to give a dash cam as a gift, he can giver her one. There’s nothing inappropriate in giving a woman a nice bottle of wine. Your dh would only be crossing a line if he suggested they enjoy the alcoholic beverage together, and he’s obviously not doing that.

Please consult with a Rabbi about the Halcahos of
* Male gifting a female
* Gifting a g-o-y
* Gifting in connection with non Jewish holidays
These are all issues that need to be discussed with a competent Rabbi
ETA why is this being hugged? I'm not Paskening or offering opinion on any of these matters as I'm not knowledgeable in these matters.
But mentioning that something is a Halachic matter and should be looked into shouldn't warrant hugs ON A FRUM SITE.

Thank you for your input.
A dashcam was only given when he knew the client was in need of one. Golf is NOT a typical women’s sport. And wine he is on the fence.
He not giving to many people at a time. It’s one on one, so has to be more tailored and make sense.

Thank you everyone for the ideas! So far he liked the most the Amazon e-card. Especially as time is short.
I appreciate all the input.

Not simple halachically for a man to gift a woman. Ask a shaila.
Who is hugging these posts mentioning halacha? And why?
