Eli and Esti bicker about him not asking her if his mother can come for Shabbis. Eli explodes,and Esti starts reading one of the books about grief.
Mimi calls to vent as usual. Esti is sympathetic and suggests she reads about grief.
Eli's mother calls as he is leaving to pick her up for Shabbos - she can't come, Dina has arrived at her door, without her husband.

It was mentioned a few times in the serial that she has shalom bayis issues. Hence the reason she should at least have a house

As for something like five steps of grief while psychological explanations can be helpful there is no excuse for not getting help when actions and poor choices require better behavior
While there may be reasons there are no excuses
Like someone can treat their spouse abusively Chas v shalom due to many reasons
Still without anger management and somehow addressing it effectively the reason for it doesn’t matter
Obviously any crisis can exacerbate latent issues

Totally possible.
I don't remember there being anything about Dina's marriage troubles in the story, but then I didn't read every single chapter. I only remember when here guessing it.

I stopped buying the Ami a while back (I think after Succos. ) I can't believe the story still didn't make much progress. So similar to the Chava and Shalom story. I guess it's just a weekly update on family feuds and dysfunction. Please update when there is something more interesting and purposeful to this serial.

Eli was angry all Shabbos because he thinks because the others forced him to stand up to Dina she's now getting a divorce.

After Shabbos Avi calls Dina's husband who said Dina was in a strop all week because she couldn't go to her mother for Shabbos. He told her they should have a Shabbos by themselves after 10mths going to her mum so Dina stormed out with their child and went to her mum.

He also said it was about time someone stood up to her, her parents never did.
