Have you ever thought you didn't hear a word when hearing Megillas Esther being leined?

I think there is a lot of different ideas regarding if it is actually necessary to go back to hear it again if you didn't hear every word but many years ago I did go back to Shul to hear the Megillah again when I missed a word.
