Does anyone know of a place in boropark or crown heights that sews a needlepoint into a Tallis bag?
I remember hearing of a place on 13th ave, but don't remember where/which store. I'll be in brooklyn and want to take care of it this week. I really don't want to mail it to a store as I'm terrified of it getting lost in the mail.

I've used Stitches before and they do a great job. But they are too far from where I need to be in Brooklyn.

It looks like they sell ready made stuff only. Do you know if they maake the bags? A needlepoint needs to be 'blocked' before being sewn into a bag.

I did a tefillin bag by Best embroidery years ago. You can call if they still do it.
I think it is on 14 ave near 40 street

I'm not sure what blockes means. They personalize

When a needlepoint is done, its usually very misshapen. Blocking is the term used to reshape it.

Thank you! I called. They do still do it. And the location is almost perfect. My son lives a couple blocks away, so if I can't go, he or his wife can go for me.
