My son resists learning for his bar mitzvah. He claims he’s uninterested in “Jewish stuff”. He gives my husband a hard time and he refused to learn with a Rebbi.
My 19 year old offered his time. I have no idea what his magic is, but he is is getting through to my almost bar mitzvah boy as if he’s under a spell. The kid who claims he’s not interested in Jewish stuff calls his brother every single day to learn and consistently goes over the allotted time.
What a Bracha!

My 4y.o. is the sweetest little girl. Always has a smile, nice to everyone, rarely gets angry, just a bundle of pure joy.
Anyways, one day my DD came home from school so upset and crying to me, "don't tell my morah, I won't do it again". I couldn't calm her down. I called the morah. Apparently there is a girl in her class who has some issues, regularly hitting other girls and just generally being mean/difficult. My DD was sitting next to her and this girl somehow convinced my DD to hit a different girl. The morah said my daughter was so upset after she did it, the assistant had to take her out of the classroom to calm her down for like half an hour. Needless to say, she never had done anything like that again (this story was a few months ago)
Even though her actions were not the best, I love this story because it showed me she has such a pure neshama and no one can convince her doing something bad is okay. She knew inherently what she did was wrong and she had such a hard time forgiving herself.

Such nice stories.
My DS I think it was when he had just turned 4 maybe a bit before. Came home from gan with a note on the day he has the weekly substitute.
She had written that near the end of the day she told all the boys to tidy up and they will get a candy. When handing out the candy to each kid it was my son's turn to get but he said to her. 'No I didn't tidy up so I don't get a candy.'

I told my 3 year old that cheder is closed today because of chanuka.
He told me “now we will need to learn the heilika Torah in the caves”
He thought antiyochos closed the Cheder.

Almost 4 year old actually went and brushed her teeth after I asked her too. Wasn’t expecting her to actually listen and do it alone

Went to DD’s high school pta. One teacher said that my daughter is like a queen. Always speaks with derech eretz and carries herself regally. Tries hard and even if she can’t read a rashi very well she won’t give up and learns the hashkafa lesson from the rashi. She does well because she tries so hard and the teacher appreciates her efforts. Girls like her because she’s always nice to everyone.
This is a girl who I thought wouldn’t make it in high school. She struggled academically and had a low self esteem. I guess she is finally in a different place now. It was so nice to hear so many positive things.

Also went to Dd high school pta and shept nachas that she is very into the lessons and she writes good notes. She doesn’t have much patience its really hard for her to sit still so many hours.
Before I left, I asked my 3 kids to clean up the house (I gave an incentive) it was a wreck the housekeeper was off the holiday. My 9 year old son worked over a half hour; he steamed the floors and tried to rub the pen mark out of the couch (rubbing out the leather in the process).
