My son turning 3 in a month has been complaining for the past few weeks.
Waking in middle of night crying that his whole body hurts him
Says he can't go to park or walk the 2 blocks from playgroup
Also been very tired - he dropped his nap ages ago

I went to doctor, I asked for full blood work. Mono lyme etc. Everything is good

What else could it be
Should I do a more sensitive or specialty test
Any supplements or vitamins to give

I feel so bad for him Sad

I'm assuming you also checked for strep?
Can it be just a regular virus? How long has it been?
What did Dr say?
It's a good thing whole blood work is normal!!! Bh!

She's right, sometimes the throat doesnt look red so they dont bother with a strep test, worth checking.

If he isnt better, go back to doctor...

I did strep
Dr said nothing. I had to call for results they said it looks good.
I noticed this mid November so at least 4 weeks

My son had something similar when he was in 6th grade. He had severe body aches (his words were that he felt like he was hit by an 18 wheeler truck) and sever fatigue. It started with swollen lymph nodes and low grade fever. The fever went away after a day or 2, but the virus lasted a month. We went for blood work and all came back ok.

At one point the dr insisted my son was faking. He was not and I was so mad with the suggestion. He said to send my son to school half a day. My son called home after 2 hours that he couldn't lift his head off the desk. It took weeks before he was back in school full time.

This is unusual for a three year old.

How is his height and weight?
Development?
Any medical history (even if it seems unrelated)?

Weirdly enough a few years ago my then 4 year old had mono (elevated epstein barr)

This child is big, healthy, super advanced, biggest thing he ever got was rsv at 4 months old... I thought it must be either strep or mono but apparently it's not...

Maybe a growth spurt. My friends kid had the sane symptoms and the dr suggested growth spurts.
