Can I please have suggestions for girl's names either meaning song or have the connotation of song or singing etc. Not specifically praise, but it can include that idea- more the actual singing.
I think I thought of all the common ones, but I'm not sure because there doesn't seem to be so many.
TIA

Those are basically the ones I had thought of. Thanks!
Would Zimra fly in a USA yeshivish community? What does it translate to?
And does Ne'ima mean just pleasant or pleasant song? I see both in the artscroll interlinear.

Zimra would fly in a USA yeshivish community, but would be extremely unique.
I have taught 9 grades in one school and know the names of the girls in the upcoming 5 grades And not one zimra
I know one zimra who is about 29

Zimra would stand out in a yeshivish community.
I know you said no praise but I like the name Tehilla-Praise or song of praise

Zimra would not work in yeshivish communities in the US. The rest can pass.

The rest won't all pass.
Shira, Rina, and tehilla are heard of. Not common. Like in 9 yrs of teaching (over 150 girls) I think I had two shiras and a rina and a Tehilla.
Again, in the 14 grade span I can think of from working in an OOT yeshivish school (girls ranging age 5-18)
There are no girls with names that are derivatives of hallel Shira or Rina.

Roni is a unisex name meaning my song. It is quite common in Israel but not in Haredi circles. It would probably pretty unique in yeshivish circles in the states but you can always dare to be different.

tehila is pretty popular I mean not like esti or chana but can def use in a usa yeshivish community. rina too. shira is ok and can def pass but I thinks less common nowadays. I know bunch of shiras but who went through regular mainstream system but they are in their 30s.
zimra no

My kids have lots of Rina, Shira and Tehilla in their classes, I'd say it's very common nowadays. The rest can pass in that they don't sound so far off, but Zimra is pushing it too far I think.

Zimra would not fly in yeshivish community...
Tehila is perfectly fine in yeshivish community (maybe not in ultra yeshivish)

Thanks for all the replies...
I'm not looking for a specifically common name, I was just wondering if I missed any besides the more common ones. I don't mind a unique name, just not completely strange :-)
I like the sound of Zimra, just not sure of the "seeming" connection to 'Zimri' from the Torah...

I couldn't find it again in my quick search, but I've come across it many times while saying Tehillim. If I find it again I will update you. Thanks!
