Different ages get different amounts and also depends on what they are using it for. But assuming all basic tasks are done I let my kids play games on my phone or watch curious George or Octanauts type videos. My 7 year old is really into cooking videos which cracks me up. But I don't have a rigid system. Id say around 30 min a day for the under 9 and 1 hour for the almost 13 year old.
I started making it more about quality over quantity.

I wrote under an hour, but the truth is, unless I’m very sick and there is no other option, then there is zero screen time
When my oldest was a baby, I used to show him a lot. My second also also definitely got screen time. As I got older and wiser, I stopped it. We still have a subscription to toveedo, which they use on rare rare occasions

How long do they spend watching each time? Does each kid get to choose a video every time or do they all share one together?

My tween and teen spend about 20 hours per week on the computer. Wow.
At least 2.5 hours every school night and Motzei Shabbos, and at least 5 on Sundays. It’s what they live for. They don’t want to go outside. They don’t want to spend time with other humans. Autism + ADHD

Looks like we're on the high end. 40-50 minutes per day, Sunday through Thursday, plus sometimes a movie motzei Shabbos or a 20-30 minute show Friday afternoon after school. Adds up to a bit over 4 hours.
This doesn't include reading e-books, typing on computer, or videochatting family.

I voted none but my kids are only 3 and 5. I think that's a factor.

My little kid gets about 5 hours a day. Not ideal, but that's life right now. Posting this to make other people feel better 😉

My kids watch only on Friday and Sunday afternoons, and only Toveedo. But once they start it's hard to get them to stop. Fridays it's usually from 1pm until the zman, on and off. And Fridays it's usually from about 2-6, on and off. I would love to cut it down more, but I find that my kids have a hard time stopping once they start, and then I have to decide if I have the strength to tart a tantrum....

Too much. A ton. We went screen free for awhile and I gave up. Some days none and some days like 2 hours.

When my kids were little, I would often rent a video for them on Sunday afternoons. At my mother's house, I don't have a video player.
I would get a Disney movie like Cinderella. Or E.T.
You know what a video is? Pre-internet.

We used to do three times a week for half an hour up to an hour - we're in Israel, so we used educational screen time to teach our kids to read English. After I was happy with their reading, we weaned off it and now we just do a few hours on the first Friday after Rosh chodesh.
For someone home sick while I'm trying to work, I don't have any restrictions...whatever it takes.
I might have to start up the every other day screen time again as my next two kids are ready to learn English now. Honestly it's either that or slow, expensive learning with a tutor because we don't have time to teach them ourselves.
