There wouldn’t be legal issues but you do have to upload your photo id once they take you off the wait list so that they can verify you are who you claim to be so they might notice the DOB not matching up with what you said.

I researched it before signing up - it’s a legit site which many people have been using for several years without issue. Like any site, there’s always the risk of hacking but this site isn’t more vulnerable than any other. Do your research and decide if you’re okay with it.

I know there's oodles of paid survey sites out there- has anyone looked into the other options? Which pays the best for online surveys (not phone/webcam/inperson)

This site in my experience. Most surveys on the site are not phone/webcam or in person, they’re just multiple choice questions on a webpage.

User interviews is amazing for tech people.

I’ve researched a lot over the years. The subreddit r/beermoneyglobal has a lot of information.

Tech/IT workers for sure. Maybe other industries too. You can check their website.

I signed up as a tech employee and got sent great offers but I didn’t have experience with any of the software they wanted my opinion on so I ended up just unsubscribing.

You can try Connect Cloud Research instead. It has fewer surveys than Prolific but I hear it also pays well.

Try submitting an IT ticket to them if you’re able to.

Can you explain what the issue is? Have you tried reopening the survey from the link they sent you and starting over?
