How much should a kallahs wig cost…

If it’s being paid by tzedaka?

I don’t wear expensive wigs at all, but understand that a kallah should get nice wigs.
How much should it cost without being nebby, if paid for by tzedaka?

We recently got a wig from TDL in Lakewood. They paid about $1500-1700. I don't remember the exact cheshbon. They didn't require us to get the cheapest wig, we were able to go one step up. It's a very pretty wig.

For around 1700 you can get an irene sary and some other ones...

Depends on the length.
If it’s non lace and average length , they’re going for minimum $2k these days
It goes without saying that if it’s tzedaka you shouldn’t get a Dini or Yaffi ( prob the most expensive on the market)

Depends on length, colour, and if it’s a lace top or skin top.
If it’s a blonde, 30”, lace top, you can expect it to cost $2800-3500 for Irene/Sary/Eva & Chloe/ Chavie Russel

Probably around 20” tops.
Dark brown
Lace front.

Many Kallahs don’t start with 3 full wigs are you sure that’s what the kallah is expecting? If she does it’s common to get a fall as the 3rd which should be under $2k.

Depends on which circles she’s coming from. I’m Chassidish and every one I know started with 3 wigs. My litvish friends only started with 2

I got a shabbos and weekday sheitel. No fall
Almost 4 years since my wedding and I just got a new shabbos sheitel so now I have 3 but my older 2 are not in great shape.... Thinking about converting one to a fall

I think people will be happy that a Kallah was able to get married with nice sheitels (at least I would!)

There is no should, my wig was something like $1000 , but that was in E”Y and a long time ago.

Standard in most circles is 2. Almost everyone I know gets two- either a Shabbos wig and full weekday wig or a Shabbos wig and a fall.

Eva and Chloe 20” will be around 2500, you can probably get an Irene or sary for a little less

I have an Eva and Chloe and I’m very happy with it

If I were taking tzedaka and even were I not I would start off with two full Sheitels one shabbos one weekday
And while I may not be updated 9000 sounds like a lot to ask for
Now on the other side if someone wants to give it then that’s a different story if someone is asking what to give sure be as generous as possible
