Slap on bracelets-we would peel the plastic off and just slap on the metal

Are super sokers still around?

Remember neon glue.
We would shmear it in the palm of our hand and roll it back to make stretchy bracelets.

Slouch socks
Kosel rings with your name
These plastic choker thingies
Chokers in general
"Cupcake/wedge/mushroom/bowl " haircut
Puffy floral smocked dresses with petticoats.
Itchy wool shabbos skirts
Sailor outfits
The flower shaped soap collections that were responsible for that clothing rose-scented bathroom.
Bath pearls that dissolved in the bath
Heavy wool plaid blankets for the stroller. Toasty warm!
The Similac diaper bags with bears on them. I was so jealous of my classmates who used them as trip bags. Their mothers were young and still having babies

Still have black sheer stockings and some brands are off black
Why is it when you buy 4 different brands of stockings you get 4 different colors of black?

I remember coloring the rectangle indent on top of my supplies box and the filling it with glue. Letting it dry and making a bendy bookmark!

You had to straighten your hair every day and get it done by a non jewish hairdresser!

And the girls with very thin hair got perms, to make it thicker, puffier.

I really dont like the current hair and shaitel styles, so plain, flat and blah. Cant wait till those old styles come back in!

Anyone remember when the first 'time-out' games came out? toss-up, fireman

Yesssss I was recently trying to explain that one to my kids! We called them “glue things” (yes, very creative!) and we made them on the top of spacemaker supply boxes.

We also collected eraser shavings by literally just using an eraser on our desk or empty paper and collect all the little rubbed off remnants.

Yep, my cousins had all of them and we'd go over and play with them. Then I got Donky King with a double screen for a birthday present. Was considered the coolest thing.

Remember when the simchas had a cantaloupe slice with a maraschino cherry at each place? Or a poached pear in strawberry sauce if it was really fancy.
