Help! Collar stays are stuck in my washing machine!

How do I get them out? They are in the back circle around the edge

I have them also. But they don't bother me, just annoys me. I've tried with a safety pin, didn't work so I just leave them there.

Anyone know how to get them out? Do they damage machine if stay stuck?

I usually get them out using another collar stay to dislodge it.

Same problem here... But I think they are rusting and I wish there was a way to get them out! I also tried with a collar stay, but it's really hard and doesn't always work.

Mine usually make it into the filter then block the the machine from draining, I've found them a few times when cleaning the filter

Actually just had some success by sliding another metal collar stay along the stuck one (near the rounded edge, not the pointed one) and maneuvering it to angle it out and dislodge it.

Yep same here. I hate moving the machine to open the back so my new rule is the offending collar stay owner has to get the collar stay out.
