I think they're planning some worldwide kinus for this. The cost of flowers have gone through the roof.
I think our Rebbetzins will have to make do with something else. Although in my case
dw will finally have to put on Shabbos makeup for me. She got away with it till now because of the mask.
Anyone know what they will substitute instead?

I thought so too, but last time I brought one home for Rosh Hashana DW just rolled her eyes and said, “Men!!!” What I thought root vegetables are a thing women get excited about in the fall. They like orange and white stuff together, like carrots and parsnips or whatever those things are called. So what was wrong with a marror root?

I think it reminds her of peasch and yetziyas mitzrayim. she means that you have redeemed her and made her free Rolling Eyes

Ohhhh.
But why does she say it with a bitter angry face?

DW is pregnant and wanted pickles a few weeks ago, so I bought 10 of the super jars. Now she’s mad because they “clutter up the hallway.” Well they won’t fit anywhere else except the bedroom, and I know she doesn’t like huge boxes of stuff in there (I remember from when I got those 10 giant mega superpacks of diapers for super cheap because they were Final Sale. How was I supposed to know that they were the wrong size?)

I dunno. Marror sounds like it would be good in a soup

Does anyone else’s wife get super stressed on mikvah day? I would think she’d be in a good mood since we get to do the mitzvah after she gets home. But she says it’s so stressful doing chafifah. Don’t women like doing spa things? Plus it’s even better than a real spa, because she can do it at home, so it’s free, and if the kids need anything they can just knock on the bathroom door! Win-win because she’s good at multitasking. No?

There was a shul that was closing down and was giving away all the Soferim.

I went and they had all the old prints, the stuff you can't get anywhere anymore.
I controlled my self and only took 2 boxes.

Now my wife is mad because how many Nach's do we need?

I gave DW what she wanted but she’s still upset!

DW had Mikvah night tonight. She really wanted me to do something romantic and gave me a list of romantic options I could do

Set up bedroom with rose petals, candles, diffuser
Arrange a nice dinner
Buy her a small gift - flowers and chocolate, perfume

By the time she left the house it was too late to go shopping for most things so I decided to Uber eats some food. I bumped into an option for a falafel place we used to like that’s now available on Uber eats. Plus they had a discount code for that place. I ordered falafel.
DW comes home and after DTD I proudly present her with the falafel. She got a weird expression on her face and just said “oh. You got falafel.” She was very quiet which is never good, and I asked her what’s wrong. She started crying and said “falafel isn’t romantic”
I can’t win!

The problem with almost every comment so far is that everyone seems to think the posts will be about the wives. Most men just don't actually think about their wives that much of the time anyway.

Almost certain that 99% of the posts will be one of the following:
How to fix my car without taking it to the repair shop.
What's the latest on football/soccer/cricket/whatever.
A really popular Daf Yomi heoros thread.
How to get Delta Medallion without paying.
A politics thread that gets locked twice a day.

If the site isn't policed well there'll probably be some really disgusting threads as well.

Yea, agree. I don't think our DHs are as obsessed with our every move as we are with theirs. When they have the option of chilling they do not wanna think about their wives and their idiosyncrasies.

That’s totally true. But the thoughts our husbands have about us tend to be more entertaining
