garfield wrote: | Garfield LOVES lasagna! (and I do too)
My bedroom; nothing is expensive, and it is a small Israel room, but I love the colours and layout, it's the first apartment I have rented that I have been able to put my own stamp on, and choose furniture. I covered cheap amazon headboards in an amazing fabric I found online, I'll see if I can find a link, (jewel tones again), hot pink bedspread, ikea pax cupboards, with navy and mirrored doors, side tables and dressing table are sort of bumpy white gloss with gold legs, and a big bookcase next to my bed. (fully outed myself for anyone who knows me!).
This is the fabric for the headboard I did.
It's the multi velvet colour way, and it still makes me smile when I come in the room. |
Don’t know he loved lasagna but so do I!
Wow!! Love it all! And good for you for not letting the fact that it’s a rental prevent you from going all out.

Hmm ok.. what’s something in your daily routine you must do every day? For me it would be my mid-morning coffee and skin care routine… for others brushing twice a day.

Wolfsbane wrote: | Hmm...many things. He has certain qualities of some of my favorite teachers - passion for the field, a mode of teaching that fronts student participation, real respect for his students' abilities and intelligence.
As a character - he's incredibly competent, but not showy about it. Even-tempered (except during certain instances in book 7 that I think are so out of character I don't even know if it's worth trying to reconcile them with the rest of his character). I appreciate his commitment to try to mend fences with Snape.
I find his backstory interesting (can't resist a good tragic backstory). The first war and the Marauders are in general a topic I find intriguing (especially the way this era is explored by fans). I think of Lupin as a character shaped by suffering - losing his friends at a young age, suffering from a chronic health condition, along with deep societal stigma associated with aforementioned condition...he's a good man with a lot stacked against him - who still manages to maintain a sense of self, but who also suffers setbacks and insecurities because of how he is perceived by society.
Also, I appreciate that he is essentially a stressed out high school teacher, who, when you meet him from Harry's point of view in the context of his profession, is an adult (TM), but when you see more about him, you realize he's just trying to figure his life out.
Lol, there's probably more I could say about this, but that's all for now |
Fascinating dissertation. Especially the outcast part. I didn’t realize lupin had so much depth to him. But then I’m more of a Sirius black fan.

Well actually dear princess, you totally misunderstood me. I meant HER Royal highness as in you. But I am happy that HIS Royal highness doesn’t find the lowly science museum beneath him and that he even drives his own car.

My favorite tv show would have to be Avatar the last airbender. It's the only show I can think of that I've watched multiple times and shown to other people. I love fantasy, and it's got some excellent characterization and character arcs. I think that having characters who feel real and who you can invest in is one of the most important things in a story, and Avatar absolutely has that. |
It’s very nice (and tiring).
Ah, I have never watched it. Maybe I will add or my list now.

Oh. You must’ve felt so lost. Sad part is that it really stuck with you that’s how disoriented you were.

At least not at normal prices. 🤷♀️
You deal, also I'm pretty much used to the sun.
I would like to have sunglasses but not to buy them. |
Wow. Can’t imagine. I can’t go outside in the summer without them. Because I always lose or break them I buy cheap $15 H&M pairs.

I don't have a consistent morning or night or anything routine, but one thing I've noticed is that if I forget to say shema at night, I'll toss and turn and have a hard time falling asleep without realizing why.
Another, much much simpler question please 🥺
