My 6 month old's hair is getting in her eyes. She hates ponytails. But also, I don't want to put something in that is a choking hazard (e.g., ponytail holder, clips) or a strangulation hazard (e.g., headband), as she can pull things out or down.
What are my options?

I’m sorry but there aren’t much options except for headbands and clips ufortunately
I think out of all of them headbands are the least risk averse

Cut it into bangs. Not the very obvious straight line cut, but something more natural looking.
That’s what I did and it was adorable and so helpful. Just don’t make it too blunt. Tiny babies don’t need hairstyles

So many people told me to cut my pldests hair cuz it was bothering her, wouldn't grow out even etc. But a year she had hair down to her shoulders, even and adorable, and I could do half pony's and lots of stuff with her front hair.
So glad we didn't cut it.

"Palm tree" the top of her hair. She can't reach that high to pull it off
