Aha! So it was you I saw in the grocery store today! Hiding behind all that black in Meah Shearim! And yes, she was also wearing underwear believe it or not. I saw the lines from under all the black. (Kidding, I didn’t leave my house today although I did get dressed today lol.)

My great grandmother that passed away a few weeks after my oldest was born. She was a holocaust survivor and a strong woman. I felt she had a special connection to me.

What was the most impactful movie you have ever watched?

You should! Your questions are really good and you come across as very eloquent and clear.

'Escape from Sobibor' made me grasp a little of what people went through during the Holocaust. It made a big impact on me. There were others too but this is what I remember off the top of my head.

We have wifi at home. So I can use the laptop on the couch - I work from home frequently and use wired internet at my desk at home, but this way I'm not stuck at a desk all the time. My kids don't have the wifi password.

I never thought about wifi any differently than wired internet (aside from being old enough to remember a time before wifi). Are there people who have internet at home but specifically don't have wifi for hashkafic/halachic reasons?

Yes, I watched this on Tisha b’Av a few years ago. Absolutely chilling. I also read her book which had a lot more details and I remember reading that when she went to make a movie in the actual camp and the actor soldiers were marching around in their nazi costume uniforms she had a real PTSD then because it was so realistic.

My username is pronounced A-ma-day-oh a-va-gah-dro, after a chemist that came up with the concept of the mole (relative mass to mass). I love chemistry.
My students had a difficult time saying "Avogadro of the mole", so they called him "Avocado of the guacamole"
My avatar is an avocado and a mole (the animal) saying Avogadro's number, which is 6.02 x 10/23.

In short, I chose my username because I love chemistry.

Bravest thing I ever did, that's a tough one. Recently I had to call a friend and tell them I lost the $ they had given me to pay someone. I was really embarrassed. I did replace the $ of course.
