I blame the mother (and father) for enabling Dina. They shouldn’t have ganged up against Eli. They shouldn’t have made Esti out to be the bad guy.

Gross. I haven’t followed the whole story, but it’s so nauseating.

This is too much! Eli is so dense, I just want to punch him!
He is innocently thinking that the issues are going away. Dina isn't going to stop now, these people don't just let go.
How can he invite her after all this? So blind to his wife's emotions!
I can so see this playing out in real life because I know a "Dina" that has single handedly ruined the lives a large, previously happy family.

Eli should be ashamed of himself. To invite his mother, ok. But Dina?!
I wish Esti would leave him.
He's nuts. And obtuse.
Imo, he's worse than Dina.

I agree it’s too much, how unintelligent can a person be.

Esti should go for shabbos to her mother. Let him deal with dina alone.

But Esti’s family is also dense and obtuse and insecure and all they want is that Esti should support her mom in law and her abusive husband. They think a wife must support her husband no matter what and if he tells her to jump off the roof the wife must comply and obediently just ask “how hi? I know that if this is what you decided it must be the right thing for me and I’m not interfering with your decisions”.
Hadassa is stupid and so is Esty’s mother, so Esti has zero real support, she’s alone in the world.
At least she has a job and kids, so maybe one day she will get her life together.

At this point I don't like any of the main characters. Not Esti not Eli and not Dena.
Zero zero communication between Esti and Eli, the most dysfunctional marriage I have ever seen. And I do think it's both of their fault - neither of them is actually trying to communicate or build bridges of any kind.
And the story itself is so confusing. They are constantly talking about the business but the context is completely missing and the way the author is writing it it makes no sense.
Is the business really making money, and how much? Is it really enough to support three families? If Eli was running it, why was he supporting his sister? (This was from before the father passed away). My brother isn't supporting ME.
Can Dena really step in and run it? Just like that? It took him exactly one day to transfer it over and just walked away. How is that even possible? Who's going to be running the business now?
I dont know if the author will explain everything the last chapter or if she herself doesn't really know what's going on. Either way its wrong to write it this way. Very very frustrating.

Couldn't agree more, I really hope they go with a different author for the next one.
