Just got covid (I'm surprised as anyone else, thought we were long done with this) and it's hitting me pretty hard. Can anyone recommend what to take/do to recover quickly - I have little kids who are all home now and my husband will be back at work on Monday so I really need to regain my strength! I'm very weak and dizzy/shaky now. Overall woozy. TIA!

Drink tons and tons and tons of water. As with any virus, water flushes virus out of your system.
Refuah Shleima!

A gut Vacht. Firstly Refuah sheleima. Secondly call your doctor. I understand you want to get better quickly due to having little ones. But with these type of viruses you just have to take it easy and not rush it as you don’t chas vsholom want a relapse. In the meantime keep drinking plenty of water to flush out all the germs and ask HaShem to heal you. You’ll iyh see you’ll be all better in no time.

Use a humidifier while sleeping. During the day breath in the vapors of boiling water mixed with baking soda. Do it a few times a day. Vitamin C. Sit under the sun and get natural vitamin D. Refuah shleima.

No tips for you just sending a hug your way because I have covid right now along with my entire family and we're all a mess. I'm pregnant and it's just been extremely difficult being home with the little ones all week while we're all so sick. I'm not one that typically allows screen time but I'm thinking tomorrow is going to be a video kind of day to get through this!

Freshly juiced ginger helped a lot here. Don't put into hot water.
Fresh squeezed lemon with warm water.
These 2 basically got us through it. Iyh hope you all feel better quickly.

Since you have no clue who I am what difference does it make? And how am I giving medical advice when saying paxlovid causes relapses when there were many articles about it and paxlovid says so themselves? I didn't tell her to take or not to take it.

Take a daily vitamin and mineral supplement and also take additional Vitamin D/Calcium. It works better if it's taken prophylactically and regularly, but if you start now it can only help your recovery. (FYI I hold this as true for any conventional colds/flus/viruses too) Also, hydrate hydrate hydrate, and obviously rest.

Definitely consult with your doctor to see if paxlovid is indicated as beneficial for you.
