Hi! Another graduate from '95! I remember fidgeting so Reb Kleinman wouldn't pick me for Chazzan. She usually entered the lunchroom and scanned the room, then chose the girls who sat all prim and proper in a fully upright position. Lol.
May mrs M neshama have an aliyah!

Regarding Mrs M, may she rest in peace, I don't have many nice things to say.

I can't believe how people can speak ill of a woman just niftar!
Please please for your sake and the sake of her neshama, keep your negative comments to yourself.

unfortunately she has caused a lot a lot of students and parents grief and lifelong issues.
is it nice to talk badly? maybe not- however sitting with pent up negativity toward of person of power for many years- you can't blame anyone for it coming out now.

Well said. I remember one grademate of mine; she was a huge troublemaker when she was younger. She literally made her hold the walls. She would screech "hold the walls hold the walls"

oh I have been told that multiple different times.
"the walls are falling"
holding the green and peach bricks was apparently a great way to teach me to not ask my teacher to use the restroom.

It was one of the ways she used to terrorize the girls.

A physical punishment? Thought that was only in the boys schools…

It’s funny. You just reminded me I got this punishment from her in 3rd grade. For scribbling on a sign the teacher made. But I have no hard feelings. I’m saddened by the loss. May her neshama have an aliya.

Humiliation, and simple scare tactics. the girls were scared of her.
my neighbors that send to satmar tell me she still did this.
while I'm sure many girls never crossed paths with that side of her- it shouldn't take away from the girls that actually suffered. and I don't use that word lightly.

I bh never crossed paths with her. We literally didn't even make eye contact. But, just hearing her yell at fellow clasmates/grademates was very frightening enough. It was enough to make sure that I don't even think to think of doing something even by mistake.

I guess that's why she did it.

Mrs. Muller is not alive anymore either?? Our grade used to joke she had an "open closed door policy"

Mrs. Muller used to volunteer years ago in the maternity department in maimonides. Just going around making sure mommy's were OK. She came in and I recognized her right away. I was too fresh post partum moody to introduce myself and risk having to talk to her for an hr. Luckily I got a phone call within the first 3 seconds and she left my room.

I’m not satmar, have nothing with satmar and don’t even know this principal that was niftar. All I know is that I read a thread about her and how sad people were that she died and I’m feeling bad what a loss it is to all who knew her. Then I come here and read pure lashon hara about a person whose family is still sitting shiva for her! You have something against her? Keep it to yourself! Definitely don’t go posting it on the internet for all to see.
