Most imas are probably too young to remember the following: Mindy press sheitels on 47th Street in BP. Also Manies clothing in a basement somewhere in BP.

I read the whole thread looking for memories about my hometown and after seeing they were all American I had to go back to reread the OP to see if it was in the rules.

They were on 18th Ave.
My mother shopped for us there.
They closed down still in my childhood.

I remember when my parents went to England for my cousin's Bar Mitzvah, my mother picked up a sheitel to bring to my aunt from Mindel Press. Probably sometime in the 1980's.

Chop a nosh
Kosher delight
Maple lanes
And now linick’s is part of the list.

And Bnei Brak is changed too
No more Dubek ( for a long time)
And now a huge development is being built next to bet knesset hagadol
Bus routes have different numbers
