When my cleaning woman scolded me and told me that my rabbi won’t be happy if I just close up my cabinets for Pesach without cleaning it first . She thought I was being rebellious. She was stressing out over Pesach cleaning more than I was .

That's hilarious, and even more so considering your username.

A friend was running late on a short winter Friday. She came out of the shower and saw her candles already lit. She asked the cleaning lady about it, who said that she lit them for my friend since it was getting close to shkiah.

When your taxi driver tells you that he teased a group of bochurim.

He knows the RY well (true).
He told them that next time he drives the Rosh Yeshiva he will tell the RY that he took them to a certain restaurant at night and that they smoke.

They were scared until they realized he doesn't know their names.

once talking with a co-worker and I guess the conversation was going in the wrong direction, she says. . ." I am not going to continue talking. I don't want to even say avak lashon horah"
Apparently, she read the chofetz chaim book she found in the office.

A friend of mine told me that her parents’ cleaning lady has forgotten more halacha than many non-frum Jews will ever know.

My husband's job has asher yatzar poster with translation outside the bathroom. Two non Jewish workers started saying it. Because when they asked about this blessing, and when they were told what it was for, they said it really made sense. I think one person even says it in the merit that someone he knows should get better . You really see how your surroundings influence you!

The lovely non-Jewish aide of a family I know used to open the door for meshulachim and have full-fledged simple conversations with them in Hebrew (“Abba lo babayit, hu yachzor b’od shaah”).

The librarian in the public library who’s from Barbados said she wants to try doing Shabbos , just for Friday night. She sees the library filled with frum people on Erev Shabbos taking out books so they could disconnect , read , put their feet up and relax and she can’t imagine the amazing peace the disconnecting and relaxation does. She said it sounds like the most awesome thing .
