Today my three-year-old insisted that she wanted shoes that cover her nipples. (OK, so I've heard of high-top shoes, but not THAT high!)

I asked her to explain... what exactly does she want?

She repeated, "I need shoes that cover my nipples!" and she held up a foot and pointed to... her ankle!

Very Happy

Very funny, ChossidMom! Smile I wouldn't say that... but it's definitely in their vocabulary. One of my older kids used to say nipples instead of knuckles! Led to a few embarrassing moments in public...

Har har har.

Of course other people's embarassing moments are quit amusing..... LOL

My 2.5 was sailing around the supermarket one day in the wagon, pushed by moi and he was calling out (very loudly, I might add) "Peepee, Kohkee, toilet, MAMTAaaaaaak." as we passed the candy section. embarrassed

It is not as embarrassing as having an almost three old YELL "shabbes toilet!!!" instead of shabbes koidesh..... embarrassed (on shabat, by himself, where many ppl could see and hear him).

When dd was 2 she was at a sitter and had an accident twice wetting her xtra panties as well. When I picked her up the sitter said nothing about her being bare under her dress thinking that we were going home for nap. Instead we went to a bris and at the end the men were dancing. Well she went to join Tatte and in the middle of the men she picked up her dress and started dancing. The ex brought her back very angry at me and quite embarrassed.

As to bathroom words, I once got a call from a young mother who was frantic because her 3 yr old was screaming these words out the window all day. I told her to ignore him and he would stop. She literally cried into the phone, "You are the 6th person to say that!".

OUCH. Now THAT's embarassing. The sitter really should have said something....
