Sweet Chicken

I want to make sweet (and sour?) chicken (thighs). I have ingrediants, but I'm not sure what to use or how much to use. Does anyone have a good recipe??? Thanks

I have an easy apricot chicken recipe made with apricot jam, ketchup, lemon juice and a few spices. Can be made with boned chicken or chicken breasts.

I basically make a sauce and pour it over chicken that is eitheir bone pieces or cubed boneless pieces.
One jar of jam is enough for a 9x 13 10-12 boned pieces, or a 9 x 13 tray of boneless cubed chicken. I use 1/2 a jar if I'm making less.

Ok.. so I put a bit of oil in a saucepan, and add the jam when it is hot. Mix it quickly and add: a few squeezes of ketchup, a few splashes of lemon juice. Mix again and add the spices: garlic, onion, black pepper and salt. (you can use onion soup mix if you want in place of spices but I prefer not to unless it is a MSG free mix) I don't have measurements as I just imagine sprinkling everything over the chicken and pour in enough to cover. LOL!

Ok so once the sauce is all mixed up and it looks smooth, let it cool off a bit and pour it over the chicken in the tray. You can then leave it a couple of hours in the fridge or even overnight. You can cook it right away if you need to as well, but this chicken tastes even better the longer it sits in the sauce, which means yummy leftovers if there are any.

To cook it I put it in the oven for a couple of hours on about 300 degrees (150-180 here?) and uncover it in the last 10-15 minutes to brown the top of it.

Now watch it dissapear! I made it for this Shabbos and it was g-o-n-e
