Hi,
I often make the loaf gefilte fish and boil with veggies, carrots, onions and celery. We always eat the carrot with the fish but the onions and celery always get leftover. With shmita here I think a lot more about waste and I hate it that I throw them out. Any ideas of how to use them despite their very fishy taste?
thanks

would it make a difference in the taste if you don't put them in?

You can puree them and add them to tuna or salmon croquettes
or add to tuna salad (in stead of mayo)

put in less veggies and simply eat them all ... serve on top of the fish ...
