It's not necessarily that pending meams rejection. It's that everyone who doesn't get in, whether realistically on the wait list or rejected and not going to get in, gets the same letter. These schools believe itshelpful to the girls to not get outright rejections, even if that is the reality. It's then up to the principals and parents to find out what each girl's letter means.

I'm confused. Don't they have a waitlist? I emailed the seminary asking if it means a waitlist or rejected and they said not accepted

Did they ask your name before answering?
Also, not accepted can mean both rejected and waitlisted. Realistically, whatever your principal told you after checking into it is usually right.

Yes, I gave them the name when emailed. The principal said rejected. I also clearly asked in the email if it's rejected or waitlisted.
