You won’t hear the boy actually speak at 1h15m in because he is typing on the chat and the podcasters are answering him with their voice. Eventually the boy gets on the phone.

This is the termination court case of the oldest two. THeir names are certainly not Avichai and Avshalom.
Note that the mother still wanted to have contact with the boys and 'cohen' adamantly convinced the court to terminate her rights.
Unless she was absolutely abusive, a mother should still have the rights to visit and be in touch with their kid.
This guy has a criminal mind. He preyed on the most vulnerable, isolated them from the world, and then did his terrible deeds and manipulated them into denying it.

Well I’d hope a beis din isn’t going around giving out concerts’ info, but the rest of it is convincing enough. They talk about celebrating bar mitzvahs on Instagram but no pictures of hachnosas tefillin or a bo bayom.

The original article I read said several were from Yiddish-speaking chassidishe families, the first two from rural Texas. Why or how would a chassidishe family wind up in rural Texas and then lose custody?! And not one of those boys speaks with anything close to a Yiddish or Hebrew accent. It was just wild all around - I don’t understand how no one saw it.

It’s interesting the two oldest are often posting about his health on Instagram. If there’s finding of fraud, I hope they don’t get pulled into it and charged as well.

there's more there if you go to the post I only was able to clip part of it, he does refute it saying how their home is so safe. I'm assuming it was all internalized how they must protect the father at all costs, they were intimidated into it.

Those poor kids. And if they were already in the foster system before, what hope is there for them now?
I really really hope they are being cared for properly and getting the help they need.

From time to time I would come across them on social media and it just always looked off.
I would try to not judge and justify that there are all sorts of people out there. But it goes to show, gut instincts are correct

I dont think he has a feeding tube or had surgeries. Mostly it's just the wheelchair and looking out of it.
They know a lot about judaism by reading and studying. some of the older boys actually did a homeschool program in Judaism. The oldest is particularly learned; he once put up a video of baking challah, and he took challah and said the bracha perfectly under his breath, without even a siddur. I often wonder if the oldest 2 arent jewish. Who knows.

I'm amazed that what the oldest 3 didnt manage to do - blow the whistle hard enough to get jeffrey arrested - Shmariyahu managed to do. He is extremely smart, shrewd, and has his wits about. Jeffrey was angry at him a lot, bc he kept hinting to ppl about the abuse, and kept making escape plans.

I am SO HAPPY they are finally out of there.

Hopefully we'll have new information on the 2/23 hearing.

I don't want to hear any details about the abuse because it's too upsetting, so just reading, but super weird how in one interview he calls himself chabad, in another he calls himself satmar
He has picture of lubavitcher rebbe on the wall, but they are quite obviously not looking chabad.

Just read this and OMG... What a story and thanks to mamabear I have more things.
Can't understand why these things can happen in the USA. Here in the NL, the CPS, law enforcement, and mental health organizations are involved when you are going to be a foster parent. Plus they will come to your house, you are obliged to certain training beforehand and you need to get coaching and go to coaching stuff if you don't do that you will be dismissed. No income, severe illness? You can't be a foster parent here, you have a criminal record? Forget it. And they will found out.
Do you want to adopt? Well, you need to go through so much more and do more screenings... Why is the US so behind these things? Is it like I can go from Alabama to Washington and start all over again?

I've seen these kids sometimes on TikTok and I found it a bit strange. They looked chassidish, but more like Purim chassidish... It was off to see peyos with a giant picture of the Lubavitcher Rebbe instead of something else and I met and I know chassidishe mummies from Antwerp, London, Manchester who are on WhatsApp/Instagram but no way they will expose their kids to that.

And the worst is, they look Jewish and are posing as Jews antisemites don't see a difference and don't care if they were Jews according to halacha.
