The answer I remember hearing was that you don't take away bechirah , but they get that inner moment with themselves (the inner voice that we always get once in a while telling us we better change...) that they should do teshuva , they still have the choice not to...

So I guess its more of a siyata dishmaya...

so if a person really isnt at fault - he was brought up a certain way or abused in childhood and really isnt capable of doing better and has no idea even its wrong as he has a really small bechirah or no bechirah at all how can tefillah change that?

Wow this is why I need imamother. I need a yeshuah for something. I was sitting around thinking that I'm sure when all the flames are burning than it must be an auspicious time. I looked no further than imamother. And I got it . So tonight as in Sunday night . I can write now down my bakasha and wrap it around.? Also what are other segulahs to do on this special day?

We just found the notes we wrote last year in the box. I didn't see it when I took out the menorahs before Chanuka, so I didn't remember everything I asked for. Last year I asked for a lot of things around 20 or more. I am publicizing that BH some were answered. Hope Hashem will send us shidduchim and other yeshuot that we davened for last year and this year.

Chanukah is over but I wanted to post my husband's yeshuah. He asked last year for help in Parnassah and a few months ago something fell into his lap without him doing any hishtadlus for it.

I heard about this segula only from imamother lol. I decided to try it last year for the first time. I honestly forgot about it, and just pulled out my note with the menorah BH when setting up for this year.
BH a major bakasha was answered! Also another one! For the good in such revealed good ways (like major, Hashem gave me a healthy new baby!! She's delicious, and such an amazing birth! I can't believe it, thank you Hashem!)

Other requests I wrote are still challenging, but I need to do some introspection I'm sure Hashem has also moved these areas of pain into better times slightly if I look closely. I'm still dovening for many of the challenges I wrote last year.

Dovening for all of us to a year of geula, yeshua, simcha, all revealed good and clarity in the areas you need/want! Happy Chanukah!

Here’s my story.

2 years ago, I saw this thread and tried my luck.

I poured out my heart in an emotional letter. I needed a drastic life makeover in every area.

The next year I saw the thread again and was filled with such pain. I cried bitter tears because NOTHING changed. But with nothing to lose I poured out my heart once more in a latter, promising to publish my miracles.

This year I cried happy tears because although not everything has been answered so much Nissim have occurred to me and I am so so grateful.

Maybe next year I’ll be holding my healthy baby, but for today it’s enough 💚

I do not like these things at all. Really. Every single person who does this is not answered. I know that because I did it, and I wasn't answered, for the 1 thing I asked. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It is frustrating and demoralizing to tell people to do something with promises of fulfillment and salvation. It doesn't always work like that, and then people are devastated.

I did it 2 years ago for my relative struggling with infertility, and they had a baby before the next Chanukah.

I did it again last year for and older single that needed a shidduch, and they got married before this Chanukah.

I was kind of skeptical when I did it, and didn’t put too much hope into it. I was amazed to see that it came true.

Dunno what to make of it. I generally don’t believe in these things.

I just took out my note from last year. I had 11 bakashos written. So far two have been fulfilled BH. I know when it's the right time Hashem will make them happen. Will write another note this yr iyH
