I was just wondering it is great and all to win the lottery and 7.3 million shekels and I am very happy for him especially that he just got married. so my question is when someone gets that much money doesn't it take away from his zechuyot? is it good to get so much money at one shot?

well, mazzal tov to him (didn't know about this btw)!
but I have heard already many times that when ppl become millionairs overnight, it's not always such a good thing....
sometimes they have to go into hiding, because of the stream of requests for money, or the threads if they don't give, then... not many ppl can handle that kind of wealth.
but, iyh, he will proof me wrong!

I guess it depends what he does with it! Now he has the opportunity to gain many more Zechuyos!
