Other than in Israel...
Last night my husband and I were at the nearby supermarket doing a considerable shopping.
Suddenly, an announcement is made..."Aravit (Maariv) is now being held at the supermarket's Bet Knesset which is located near the paper towel and toilet paper aisle."
My husband went off to make Minyan and I continued my shopping - heading over to the 'feminine hygiene' section where I promptly tossed a box of tampons and 2 packages of Bedikah cloths into my cart.
I love moments like these.

Yep.
But Malcha Mall and Kanyon Hadar in Jerusalem have Batei Knesset, Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv and I'm sure many of the other malls do as well. The central bus station in Jerusalem has too.

It reminds me of the time DH and I were in the supermarket over chanuka and suddenly there was an announcement over the laudspeaker "we are going to light chanuka licht now. Everyone is invited to the front of the store. They said the brachos, lit and sang maoz tzur (all over the laudspeaker). Then they invited everyone to the bakery section for free sufganiot!

I love living here and stories like this happen non-stop and they never get old!
I love saying "shalom" and hearing "ubracha" in return by strangers on the street...

Alef in Beerot Yitzchak has a whole shul set up (right outside the bathrooms with sforim and if I am not mistaken, an Aron Kodesh too - I wonder if there is a Sefer Torah there?

Not to detract from your story, but the same thing could happen in many a grocery store in BP. I've heard the same announcement in Friedman's and KRM, and I wouldn't be surprised if you could get bedikah cloths there too.

LOL. "of course" there are shuls in other such places. I guessed Rami Levi because #1 I know there is a shul there, #2 I know it is near the toilet paper. LOL!!!!

Only difference is that Boro Park is a city. I dont know if those supermarkets are these Heimish p;laces where frum ppl shop. but Israel is a whole State and it happens all over. Like the minyan I saw on top of Masada. And these are huge supermarkets, malls (and airports!) it happens in. The frummies just like the chilonim shop in these places.

Or we are driving home near to shkia, and in the moddle of nowhere see a group of guys davening - or about to daven mincha. No one thinks twice about stopping to join them.
Stand in a crowded place and shout "mincha" and you get a minyan .
