Not OP,
But it’s hard to prioritize exercise because it takes energy. And I’m a low energy kind of person.
I want to work with a personal trainer but the idea feels so physically draining.

Agree about doing a small amount - I try for just 10 minutes every day, but really every day with no excuses. That works better for me than longer workouts 2-3 times a week which I was always tempted to push off for just a day, then another day….so if im tired I’ll do an easier video but I won’t skip a day. (I like Jessica smith, Heather Robertson, others all on YouTube).
Also - I got a cheap Fitbit. Tracking steps helps me fit in more walking (I hate walking!!) I know which days I’ve been really sedentary and need to move a bit more.

I have an apple watch and I find it oddly motivating to watch my steps. Intrinsically I want to beat myself and I am not even so competitive. When I started watching this, I realized how many steps I get and calories I burn just by doing my regular life. Exercise with a destination helps me too like walking home from work or walking my kids to friends/chavruosos etc instead of driving.
