Had Covid a year ago. Still don’t have majority of smell back; have some accurate sense of smell and also things that smell different and also oftentimes an unpleasant smell around me (not always the same bad one).
Anyone still like this? Any insight?

You’re not alone! Still have exactly what your describing- some stuff I can smell, some I can’t smell at all, and some are distorted
At this point, I’ve just learned to live with it

Same here. I had Covid 1.5 yrs ago. My sense of smell is many times zero. Some good smells , as I pass a bakery, I can smell the baked goods. Or, bad weird smells, sometimes...nowhere near normal. bh I have my taste. I, too, have learned to live with it

Oh no. Sad
At this point what bothers me most probbaly is not being able to smell bad odors in my household in places dh doesn’t notice.
Washing machine not working well. Mold in a couple of places. Kids nor smelling clean.
My regular sense of smell was quite good. And now :/

My husband had this. After 6 months he went to an ENT who prescribed steroids (one course) and he got his smell back.

Oh wow. Haven’t heard of that. Asked my GPS office if they had a specialist and they said no they haven’t heard of a cure yet. Hm.

I took steroids and it did nothing for me.
I did smell therapy for 7 months and BH I saw progress. I am grateful for my sense of smell.

It's meant to be done for 4 months. It took me 7 months but I was continuing because I started seeing the changes. It's just sniffing some smell kits a few times a day, any time you pass by. Do you want more info?

OMG THIS IS ME!! Had Covid about a year ago. Still cant smell everything. Many things smell like dirty diapers. But worst of all I keep smelling a bad smell around me (I was soooo self conscious). Please please share the details of this smell kit.
