Does anyone have a sample Bar Mitzvah itinerary that I could use as a basis. Or even an Ufrof or any other simcha that is on shabbos.
Thanks
Anon - bec. I told someone I would post about this here and I don't want them to know my screen name.

Please elaborate on what you want.
Do you want some structure for families with young children who are staying someplace that's away from home? Do you live out of town and have lots of guests coming where you have to put them up in different places around the neighborhood?

This is for a bar mitzvah in NY - but some guest are out of town and are being put in different places around the neighborhood.
Basically I want a sample program - with the basics of when and where meals and davening will be. I don't need to add any other activities.

So you could type up a list of:
-The time shabbos starts and what time the shul you daven in will be starting mincha
-The time and location of where the Friday night meal (for family) will be served.
--The time shul starts on Shabbos day and what time you approximate leining to be.
--The time and location of the kiddush.
--The time and location of lunch.
--The time and location of Mincha.
--The time and location of Shalosh Seudos.
--Time and location of meetings for family pictures or melave malka, etc.--or whatever else you're dependent on people to show up on time for.

I would include the addresses and times of other neighborhood shuls (for mincha and maariv) and some shiurim in the area (for men and women), a playground in the area (for kids) and lists of pirchei or b'nos groups if applicable. (This time of year, shabbos day is looong.)
For guests who may not be familiar with the neighborhood, provide a simple Mapquest map--and you can mark off the shuls, halls, or any place your guests are staying on the map itself.
Provide all addresses and phone numbers of hosts's homes.

Thanks.

I also thought of something else:
Depending on how close to shabbos you're expecting your guests--you may want to list one or two places they can go with their families--such as someplace to get some pizza or ice cream or some other shopping they may need--like a big pharmacy in case they forgot something, etc.
