Equity is the percentage ownership the sharks will own if they take the deal.
The Sharks are very wealthy from other business ventures.

Haha, yes I do realise . But I always get very drawn into it, and then a couple of minutes after it finishes- I remember the fact that it's engineered and airbrushed. Oh well. At least they did a good job.
