Would you be interested in working at nights too? Maybe your office would be happy to have you put in more hours.

Maybe you need some more social activities or at least talking on the phone? Are you an extrovert?
I am an introvert and can keep myself busy at home by myself for days on end, but from what I understand extroverts find a lack of socializing to be boring and draining. Could that be what you are experiencing?

I have a similar situation. Work full time, more kids than you (but one is away in Bais Medrash). My work is pretty boring. This is what I do to keep busy: start the day with a shiur and crossword puzzle, before I get the kids up. Do Duolingo (I’m learning Russian). Work out 2 or 3 times a week. Do Partners in Torah once a week. Get together with an older lady once a week. Try to attend every simcha that I am invited to. Try to have company for Shabbos meals. I also prepare dinner almost every night, do laundry and dishes, and study with the kids (sometimes, less as they get older B”H). Yeah I don’t know what exactly is wrong with me but I am often bored. I also go to the library once a week and reserve lots of books online that I pick up.

I’m not sure what kind of shows you’d like. Comedy? Drama? What shows have you liked in the past?
If you want comedy, Parks and Recreation is a really fun show. Also Friends is popular.

Why don’t you go on a fun outing with your kids on legal holidays? They’re in daycare for long hours, it will be nice for them to have that experience with you! Do you make time to play with them before bed? That can be entertaining for you and them if done right.
