I sometimes make this yummy chicken recipe (I think from happymom). It's cornflake crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder & then honey.
I usually do it on boned chicken.
I'm having a bunch of people over & made this in chicken nuggets form. Problem: I dipped it in flour & water, mixed like a paste, first (I thought it would hold the crumbs better) but I don't know if the chicken tastes good anymore. I think the flour & water made the crumbs soggy. How can I salvage it? I made 2 huge family packs! Can I add some sauce or somethign else?
IDEAS PLEASE!

maybe make like a sweet and sour vegetable sauce to pour over it... or even a mushroom sauce- although maybe not since you put honey, right? if you did put honey I would do the sweet and sour veggie sauce

taste it.
then you can panic if you want to. (kidding!) did you bake it? maybe bake it uncovered for a bit to dry out the flakes.
don't worry so much, even soggy flakes taste good on chicken.

I did taste it, I thought it was okaaay- nothing so special.
kids didn't like it, neither did dh.
I was thinking of making wellington's, but I already made borekas & I think it might be too many dough-y things then. & who would know it's chicken in there? & I need more main courses...
I baked it uncovered already
I was thinking of add sauce, but I already have sesame chicken.
WHAT TO DO???
(freaking out, freaking out )

when all else fails, it's stir-fry time. serve it with rice.

how bout just making a deli roll. its supposed to be smushy because of the ketchup / mustard / mayo / duck sauce / honey --- whatever sauces you put inside the phylo dough. ive put mashed potatoes (the instant kind, or leftover just to get rid of them) in with my chicken in deli rolls to make it MORE "soggy" or mushy, maybe try something like this? take each nugget and wrap it in some phylo dough for mini deli rolls?
