am I the only one who feels so guilty spending so much? are you seeing big changes. I think my therapist is good but it's slow going .... I have so much that needs to be dealt with....

Started seeing her 12 years ago at $125. She was $150 for many years and recently has been going up every 6 - 12 months.

I felt it was worth it but there were definitely times I felt guilty
I happy now I found someone that takes my insurance

$180 for my husband.
Both highly experienced (over 10 years) but just have reasonable rates.

I really feel like it’s so wrong to charge some of these prices! $350 for 45 min? I saw someone like this , and I kept on seeing her because I thought she should be worth it, but she was awful. Really stealing in my opinion.

I see a therapist via zoom in another English speaking country. She is a retired psychotherapist who went back to school for advanced training in a specific modality. She doesn't need the money but is very passionate about helping people with her modality specifically. She charges $70 USD for an hour. :-)

We have 3 people in the family in individual therapy, and my husband and I also see a couples therapist. 2 members of the family also see a psychiatrist. Baruch Hashem we found competent therapists and a great psychiatrist in a local Jewish clinic, otherwise we'd be in major debt with all these sessions!

Same here. I saw someone who charged a ton (and keeps going up) and she should not be practicing, that's how damaging she is.
